Michael Horton’s work has appeared in Glimmer Train, Whitefish Review, Necessary Fiction, Cold Creek Review, Yankee, and the Penman Review. He has had work nominated for “Best of the Net” and the Pushcart Prize, and his story collection was chosen as a finalist for the St. Lawrence Book Award for Fiction. At different times he has worked as a bookmobile librarian, prep cook, factory worker, head of university housekeeping, IT guy, purchasing agent, coffee shop operator, and other stuff but writing is what he does.
