Lydia Armstrong
Lydia Armstrong’s work has appeared in The Axe Factory, apt, Voicemail Poems, Crack the Spine, and others. She was nominated for the 2017 Forward Prize for Best Single Poem in the United Kingdom, and was included in The Best Small Fictions 2017 (Braddock Avenue Books). Her portrait photography project, Thicket of Trash, explores positive self-image in the age of the selfie and challenges stigmas surrounding societal expectations, vanity, and sexuality. She lives in Richmond, Virginia, where she is currently working on a novel.
