Belén Herrera (she/her) is a Phoenix transplant and current poetry student in Texas State University’s MFA program. Belén’s personal philosophy about poetry is that you can make a poem out of any expression, which is how she gets away with leaving dirty dishes in the sink. Between reading and writing, Belén is also a full-time proposal specialist and has managed social media channels for businesses, book clubs, and her three-legged cat, Mush.
