Jaymie Campbell is Anishnaabe from Curve Lake First Nation and currently resides on unceded Sinixt Territory in British Columbia. She is an artist and writer who is striving to reclaim and uplift Indigenous artforms and storytelling. Jaymie aims to explore connection to land and culture through beadwork, writing, fashion, and visual arts. Her work is inspired by her Anishnaabe roots, the land, and her family. Jaymie spent the earlier years of her career working on consultation, negotiation, capacity building, and protection of land. She continues to work in community building, policy development, and mentoring.
