Morgan Zacheus (she/her) was born and raised on the original lands of her people, the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina. There she learned a thing or two about southern charm, being both loud and proud, and storytelling. Her work has been published in The Peer Review and Pembroke Magazine; and now, as an MFA Fiction student at Texas State University, she intends to work towards publishing her first book.
