C. P. Etienne is Mississippi-born but is currently writing in Louisiana. Her work was recognized by the Gulf Coast Association of Creative Writing Teachers, who awarded her first place in their 2020 Graduate Student Competition. Writing is her first love, but she also spends a lot of time reading, crafting, and baking.
