Lorna Gibb
Lorna Gibb is a British fiction and nonfiction author. She has written biographies of Lady Hester Stanhope and Dame Rebecca West and a cross-genre book on childlessness, Childless Voices (Granta 2019) that is part memoir, part global consideration of the issue.
Her first novel, A Ghost’s Story, was published by Granta in 2016 to critical acclaim internationally.
Lorna is a Reader in Creative Writing at the University of Hertfordshire and has written short stories and nonfiction pieces for many publications including The Times, The Herald, Elle Magazine, Granta Literary Magazine and The Telegraph. She lives in Hertfordshire with her husband, Alan Wesselson, and several cats.
