Special Projects Editor
Wandering nomad and wild child by choice. Dancer, yogi and DJ. Creator of the world’s only international collective across three continents of 300 artists for social impact through art. 10 years of teaching. A legacy 100-year-old law firm by design. Dr. Sarah Farid has carefully curated many experiences on her journey on this planet. With a Doctorate in Gender, Crime and Policy from the University of Arizona, a Bachelors in Economics and Policy from Rice University and a law degree from the University of London, Sarah Farid (rhymes with tiara bead) published her first article on water scarcity and was airing primetime television news reports straight out of university. For her, being a writer has been decades in the making, an inner knowing, as sure as the Sun rises in the East. A native Houstonian and citizen of the world, she embraces and questions how humans can live in harmony with nature, art and community, while being our truest selves. She writes about climate change, tech, gender and race, Sufism and spirituality, culture and identity, describing art as lived experience that is the universe looking at itself in the mirror.
