Jillian Weise is a poet, performance artist, and disability rights activist. She is the author of The Amputee’s Guide to Sex, The Colony, and The Book of Goodbyes. Her essays on cyborg identity appear in Granta and The New York Times. She performs the heteronym of Tipsy Tullivan across social media. The poems in this issue come from her next book, Cyborg Detective, out from BOA Editions in Fall 2019.
